Equalizing the burden: The integration of Haredim in Israeli society

The International Program

Integrating the Haredim into the society, primarily in the military and the labor market spheres, has been declared a major aim of the newly constituted government. This lecture will present the origins of Haredi self-exclusion and its consequences and will evaluate the feasibility of the measures now proposed for overcoming this self-exclusion.
